Using unusual venues safely
Production halls, warehouses, hangars or historic buildings are exciting event venues. However, they are usually not designed as places of assembly. Before an audience can be welcomed there, many questions have to be answered.
We assess non-assembly venues regarding feasibility and compliance. Based on many years of experience and basic calculations, we evaluate which technical requirements can be met and what is needed to do so.
We then deliver everything from a single source: surveying of the site, escape route and seating planning, technical planning and, on request, the person responsible for event technology.

We inspect the venue and record your requirements.

We evaluate feasibility and compliance and show what is needed.
3. Planning
We survey, plan escape routes, seating and technology and provide the documents for further coordination.
4. Implementation
During set-up and the event, we take on management and responsibility on request.
What matters with unusual venues
In a production hall or on a factory site, many things are different from a classic event hall. Rigging points are often missing, plans are out of date, and escape routes and power supply are designed for production, not for an audience.
Our assessment of a non-assembly venue is based on many years of experience and basic calculations. We show you which technical requirements can be met, where adjustments are needed and which documents are required for further coordination.
Because we offer surveying, planning, escape route calculations and management from a single source, no information is lost between different service providers. From the first site visit to dismantling, you have one contact who knows your project and your venue.

Questions about non-assembly venues
What is a non-assembly venue?
A building or site that is not approved as a place of assembly, for example a production hall or a factory site. If an event with an audience is to take place there, a separate review and approval are usually required.
Do you handle the approval?
Approval is granted by the responsible authority. We provide the technical basis for it: assessment, plans, escape route calculations and seating plans.
How early should I involve you?
As early as possible. The sooner feasibility and requirements are clarified, the better costs and schedule can be estimated.
Do you also provide the person responsible for event technology?
Yes. Jens Diefenbach is a certified master technician for event technology and takes on this role on request.
